Benefits Of A Personal Trainer

Seen through the eyes of my clients

As a personal trainer based in North London I spend my time with clients either at their home, in a local park or in a gym.

I understand the importance of regular exercise and healthy eating so it is easy for me to tell you about the benefits of a personal trainer so instead I thought I would let you read it through the eyes of my clients instead.

Here are the top three reasons they have said to me....

Being Held Accountable

This is a big benefit for anyone who wants to stay fit. Knowing I am there to help you reach your goals and that each week you will "report" your progress to me helps you stay on the straight and narrow during the week! When you are alone it is easy to let yourself off the hook but when you have a personal trainer its not so easy!

Staying Motivated

You know how easy it can be to promise yourself you really will exercise and then change your mind or talk yourself out of it. Well if you know that as your personal trainer I will be knocking at your door then its not so easy to get out of exercising and eventually you get into the habit of exercising and no longer need motivation.

Being Able To Workout At Home

A big plus for many people is not having to go to the gym but having me come to their home or workout with them in the local park. It is so much more convenient, especially if you are a busy business owner or work in a job that demands a lot of your time.

Those are three benefits of a personal trainer that will help you reach your fitness goals. It only takes 12 weeks of regular exercise to get yourself into the habit and the effects on your health can be amazing as demonstrated in the video below

My free newsletter

I write a free newsletter called Fit Nut which focuses on providing health and fitness information that will help you to focus on your well being.

Its the best way to provide people outside of the areas I work in North London with ongoing information and help, as well as the videos I create.

Health is important for us all and we never realise that more than when we don't have it - when a major illness hits us it is usually then that we decide to act but prevention is always better than cure so think about getting fit and healthy now so if you are ever sick you recover a lot faster

  • Fitness Is Like Brushing Your Teeth

Do you brush your teeth daily to maintain the healthy teeth ? If you answered yes to that, well then fitness is the same but for the heart. So how come most of us don’t exercise daily to maintain a healthy heart ? From a very young age, we’ve been told to brush our teeth. [...]

  • I Don’t Eat Much, And Still Don’t Lose Weight

How many times have you heard someone saying that they don’t eat anything, and still don’t lose weight. Maybe that might even be you ? People seem very surprise that they don’t lose weight when they stop eating. Eventually they become so frustrated, that they just start binging on things, because weight loss doesn’t work [...]

  • It’s not about cutting food groups out….

When I talk to my clients or potential clients, one of the first things they generally tell me is that they have tried to cut out carbs, but it’s quite hard to do. I then tend to smile, and ask them if they really think they can cut out carbs for the rest of their [...]

You don't need much to workout

One of the things I teach my client is that it really is simple to work out without needing very much equipment.

Your garden and your own body weight is enough or small pieces of equipment like an exercise band that can even travel with you on holiday or with business!

All you do is put together a routine that includes a 30 minute fast paced walk/run (running and walking intervals is good too) and a new leg, arm and stomach exercises and you can quickly and easily design a routine for yourself.

Below is a video that you can use to develop a simple leg routine. The arm routine will follow
